College Preparation Programs for High School and Community College Students
- The Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP)
EAOP works with more than 80,000 California students who attend 542 middle and high schools to turn dreams of college into reality. At the University of California, EAOP alumni comprise more than a quarter of the historically underrepresented student body.
- MESA: Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement Program
One of the country's most innovative and successful programs, MESA works with thousands of educationally disadvantaged students to help them excel in math and science and graduate with math-based degrees.
- The Puente Project
This project provides teaching, counseling and mentoring to increase the number of educationally underserved students who enroll in four-year colleges and universities, earn their degrees, and return to the community as mentors and leaders to future generations.
