Regent-designate Jesse Cheng

Jesse Cheng is the current Student Regent-designate. He will be the student Regent for a one-year term commencing July 1, 2010. Mr. Cheng is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Irvine, majoring in Asian American studies. Mr. Cheng has been active in many areas while at UC Irvine, including: the Asian Pacific Student Association, where he serves on its executive board; student representative to the Irvine Academic Senates' Committee on Educational Policy; Student Fee Advisory Committee; and representative for the School of Humanities, Legislative Council, Associated Students.
