The University of California is pleased to announce that the Federated University Police Officers Association (FUPOA) membership has voted to ratify a new four-year contract for UC’s 260 police officers. The agreement includes annual across-the-board increases and incentives for higher education, multilingual skills utilization, physical fitness and other police functions. The new contract will be effective from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2026.
“UC deeply values the commitment and contributions of our police officers to the university and the communities we serve, particularly during the many challenges of the past two and a half years,” said Letitia Silas, executive director of systemwide labor relations. “We are glad to have reached an agreement that recognizes our officers’ service to the UC community and supports them in working effectively with our community.”
