When UC Davis communications specialist, blogger and photographer Kathy Keatley Garvey captured a honey bee sting with her Nikon D700, the image went viral. It was named one of Huffington Post’s most amazing photos of the year and won best feature photo from the international Association for Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Life and Human Sciences.
