UCLA's Chelsea Stewart booked her spot in the upcoming Olympic Games on Monday, as the Canadian Soccer Association named the 18 players who will represent the country in London this summer.
At just 22 years of age, Stewart, who will be a junior at UCLA this season, is the second youngest member of the Canadian Women's National Team. She appeared in 20 of 21 matches for the Bruins last season, tallying nine points on two goals and five assists.
Stewart's selection brings the number of UCLA women's soccer players competing in London to three, as former Bruin players Lauren Cheney and Sydney Leroux have already been named to the U.S. squad.
