The University of California is holding a student logo design contest for its Global Food Initiative.
The contest is open to currently registered undergraduate, graduate or professional school students who attend any of UC’s 10 campuses. Individuals or teams of up to two students are encouraged to submit their original works. Entries are due by Nov. 3, 2014.
The winner will receive a $2,000 award.
UC President Janet Napolitano launched the Global Food Initiative in July. The initiative aims to harness the collective power of the UC system to help put the world on a path to sustainably and nutritiously feed itself.
A selection committee comprised of the UC president’s staff will evaluate contest entries based on relevance, originality and aesthetic quality. Contestants are encouraged to refer to UC brand guidelines.
